Step Out St. Clair Initiative

We are PROUD of you! For our first health focus area committee initiative in 2021, the community really “got moving!” Literally, more than ten million steps were collectively walked over this two month campaign… enough for a soul to statistically “step out” to the Olympics Games in Tokyo, Japan!

As of August 10, these three early-bird reporters tallied the highest number of steps from June 5 to August 7:

Laurie M = 884,112 steps (GOLD)
Gina S. = 852,753 steps (SILVER)
Anna D. = 444,670 steps (BRONZE)

(Rankings may change!) There’s still time to share your total number of steps using this link.

Congratulations to all who registered to participate in S.O.S.

Need places to walk? How about the Boyce Mayview Park Hiking Trails?

“Boyce Mayview Loop is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. The trail offers a variety of scenery from woods, meadows, creeks, and waterfalls. Very enjoyable suburban park with plenty of trails to keep things interesting.”
