Additional 2017 activities

  • Facelift of CFUSC.org website, establishment of e-commerce via PayPal, and expansion of Constant Contact email communications
  • Inauguration of the John Small Memorial "Spirit of the Community Award" 
  • Awarding of grant to Junior Robotics Camp for Girls
  • Funding "year one" of a three year grant for Little Lake Theater, in partnership with the Upper St. Clair High School English Department for the study of Our Town 
  • Continual support of school activities with program ads in event programs and the School Directory. 


  • Donated advertisements to the Parent Teacher Council Student Directory, USCHS Baseball, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys Lacrosse, Boys and Girls Soccer, Marching Band Festival, Football, Spring Musical, and Wrestling programs.
  • Underwrote the "Becoming a Competitive College Applicant" education seminar on February 3.
  • Provided shuttle busing for the Town Hall South Lecture series.
  • Organized five USC Book Club meetings in January, March, May, September, and November.
  • Contributed to the purchase of the USC Rowing Association's "Invictus" rowing shell for the USCHS Crew Team.
  • Scheduled Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management planning sessions for "storytelling" of the ideals and mission of the CFUSC.
  • Supported Township events including Community Day, Arts & Chocolates, and The Bounty.
  • Re-scheduled the foundation's signature "Duck Race" on May 25.
  • Subsidized the 2016 Pickleball Tournament held at the high school
  • Held a "Giving Tea" fund-raising event in June, and commissioned and ordered the design and purchase of customized invitations from SHOP@USC.
  • Sponsored the "Seventh Annual Free Family Movie Night" at the C&RC on August 18.
  • Initiated the "Golf Invitational at St. Clair Country Club" on September 26.
  • Approved grants to help renovate Baker and Streams EL playgrounds.
  • Became a Platinum Level Sponsor for the "Celebrate Our Schools" Partnership Program to help build the Innovation Hub @ Boyce MS.
  • Distributed rubber duckies to the trick-or-treaters at the Miracle Field Halloween Party.
  • Organized the "Oktoberfest Craft Beer and German Wine Tasting Festival" at the St. Thomas More Family Life Center on October 15.
  • Funded the "Musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony" free family concert in the USCHS Theatre on November 19.
